Is the tour suitable for people with food allergies?

We strive to be as accommodating as possible, but because our tours operate on boats with limited space, we must be completely transparent about our limitations regarding severe food allergies.

Our standard onboard menu consists of fresh fruit, tortilla chips, guacamole, pico de gallo, and traditional seafood ceviche.

The Risk of Cross-Contamination

While our crew maintains the highest standards of hygiene, all of our snacks are stored, prepared, and served in a compact marine environment. Because of this, we cannot guarantee a 100% allergen-free environment or completely eliminate the risk of cross-contamination. This is especially important to consider if you have a severe seafood or shellfish allergy, as our signature ceviche is served on almost every tour.

What We Recommend

If you or a family member has a severe food allergy, we want you to feel completely safe and comfortable. Here is how we handle it:

  • Bring Your Own Snacks: By prior arrangement, you are more than welcome to bring your own safe, pre-packaged snacks onboard in your bag.
  • Notify Our Team: Please clearly state your allergy in your booking notes so our office and crew are aware before you arrive.
  • Bring Your Medication: If you carry an EpiPen or other emergency allergy medication, please ensure you bring it with you and discreetly let your captain or guide know where it is located in your bag.

(If you are booking a Private Charter and require a more substantial specialized menu, please reach out to us prior to booking to discuss custom catering options!)
