Do I need to bring cash with me?

You will need to pay your marine park entrance fee on the day, prior to your tour departure. For speed and convenience we recommend bringing the correct amount of cash for each person in your group when you check in, or bring a suitable payment card with you (we have card terminals available on each boat).

We also strongly recommend keeping some cash on-hand for tipping your crew. While not at all mandatory, tipping is customary in Mexico (particularly for the hospitality and tourism industry, where the work is seasonal).

Please consider setting aside a 10 to 20% cash tip, and giving this directly to your hard-working crew at the end of your tour.

Any cash can be in either Mexican Pesos, or the equivalent in US Dollars (small denominations are greatly appreciated!).
