{"id":12877,"date":"2026-06-05T12:26:39","date_gmt":"2026-06-05T17:26:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cozumel-snorkel-center-new.onyx-sites.io\/?post_type=help&#038;p=12877"},"modified":"2026-07-27T10:03:23","modified_gmt":"2026-07-27T15:03:23","slug":"departure-points","status":"publish","type":"help","link":"https:\/\/www.cozumelsnorkelcenter.com\/es\/help\/departure-points\/","title":{"rendered":"Where do we depart from?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Because we offer a diverse range of shared, private, and partner tours, your exact departure point will depend entirely on the specific excursion you booked!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Here is a general breakdown of our departure locations:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Shared tours &amp; standard private charters:<\/strong> The vast majority of our fleet departs centrally, with our primary meeting point the <a href=\"\/es\/meeting-point\/asta-bandera\/\">Asta Bandera<\/a> monument (aka: the large flagpole near the main ferry terminal) &#8211; which is perfect if you&#8217;re staying in the main town, or if you are arriving either by ferry from the mainland or cruise ship docking at the Punta Langosta terminal.<br><br>If you&#8217;re arriving from any other cruise ship terminal, such as Puerta Maya or the International Cruise Ship Terminal, we have an additional meeting point at the hotel <a href=\"\/es\/meeting-points\/el-cid-la-ceiba\/\">El Cid La Ceiba<\/a>, which your tour boat can pick you up from en-route.<br><br>We can also sometimes collect from your hotel or beach club pier (see below).<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Private charters:<\/strong> If you booked a private boat and requested a custom pickup, we will collect you directly from <a type=\"help\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cozumelsnorkelcenter.com\/es\/help\/hotel-piers\/\" id=\"13651\">your hotel or beach club pier<\/a>, provided it is safe and legally accessible. Note that you will need to pay a hotel pier tax for this service, directly to your hotel. <br><br>You&#8217;re also welcome to be picked up at one of our other locations, such as <a href=\"\/es\/meeting-points\/asta-bandera\/\" data-type=\"meeting-points\" data-id=\"13401\">Asta Bandera.<\/a><br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Specialty &amp; partner tours:<\/strong> Certain specialty vessels or partner excursions depart from other dedicated marinas, such as <a href=\"\/es\/meeting-points\/marina-asipona\/\">Marina Asipona<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Always Check Your Confirmation!<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Your booking confirmation email is your ultimate guide.
