To help maintain and protect this delicate ecosystem, the Mexican government mandates a daily entry fee for every single person who enters the water.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is not a hidden tour charge &#8211; it is a strict federal requirement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Where Does the Money Go?<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The funds collected from this fee go directly to <a href=\"https:\/\/descubreanp.conanp.gob.mx\/\">CONANP<\/a> (Mexico&#8217;s National Commission of Protected Natural Areas).
